Concept
Point of Emergence - Above Container
An arrangement configuration in which plant material appears to originate from a point above the container, creating a suspended or elevated spatial logic.
“Point of emergence above the container creates a suspended spatial logic - the vessel becomes a base rather than an origin, inverting the conventional relationship.”
When the point of emergence is above the container, the plant material appears to originate from a position elevated above the vessel - creating a spatial relationship in which the container serves as a base rather than an origin. This configuration is associated with suspended or overhead arrangements, and with contemporary work where the spatial relationship between material and vessel is deliberately subverted.
