Sketching

Examples

Sketching is a versatile tool, applicable to designs from the smallest ornament, to the most elaborate display or installation.

It can also be a very useful tool in communicating your ideas and thoughts to other designers, clients, exhibition coordinators or partners in a team project.

Sketching has become a valuable part of Mark Pampling's design process - most frequently enabling him to capture ideas on paper for later reference, or simply to communicate ideas, details and aspects of the creative process to himself. Mark uses sketching as a problem solving tool and a teaching aid, believing that a simple drawing can communicate a lot of information more succintly than a paragraph of descriptive words.
