Concept
Point of Emergence - Below Container
An arrangement configuration in which plant material appears to originate from a point below the container, creating a downward-originating spatial logic.
“Point of emergence below the container extends the design's spatial logic downward - the vessel becomes a mid-point rather than a base.”
When the point of emergence is below the container, the plant material appears to grow or cascade from a source beneath the vessel itself - creating a spatial relationship that extends the design downward before it rises or spreads. This configuration is characteristic of hanging, suspended, and certain cascade arrangements where trailing material establishes the dominant spatial logic below the container's base.
