Welcome to the latest edition of our newsletter - Flower Thoughts October 2024. This month we're sharing a glimpse of some coming French inspiration, and news about competition wins and the coming 2025 World Cup.
Design of the Month
A fascination with texture - our October Design of the Month is by French Champion, Frédéric Dupré. The subtle colour scheme and contrast of strong forms really allows the textures of the ingredients to be observed and appreciated. Frédéric created the design as an illustrative example during his Texture Masterclass at Boerma Instituut.

We will have more of Frédéric’s amazing designs to share with you shortly. We are putting the finishing touches on an exhibition of Frédéric's exquisite creations.
The past few months have been busy with international floral competitions. We recently shared with you news about the results of the Singapore Garden Festival's Floral Windows to the World Championship (August Flower Thoughts). August and September brought more competition inspiration from a number of national contests across Europe, with most of the winning competitors proceeding on to the World Cup of Floral Art 2025.
Tickets are now available for the World Cup Floral Art in The Netherlands in August 2025.
The Florint World Championship in Floral Art 2025 will take place at the famous World Forum in The Hague, the ‘political Capital’ of The Netherlands, from August 26 to 31.
