Staged over six separate sessions, the floral competitions and displays at the Sydney Royal Easter Show were an abundantly creative. The range of entries provided visual feast for show patrons. Many of the classes had fashion related themes, including the showcase International level RAS Floral Designer Competition, which opened the Show sessions, interpreting the theme ‘Fleur Couture’. Past participants in Flower Thinking programs and activities were well represented amongst the entries, and I was very happy to see many familiar names in the list of entrants, and happier yet to see some of those same names in the prize lists. Congratulations to all the competitors, organisers and supporters on championing floral design so impressively.
Out of the multiple classes in each session, one design is named as the champion.
