Welcome to our November News. Great floral design has continued to capture our attention this year, and looks set to continue until the end of 2022. And as the year winds down, we're pleased to see a raft of floral design inspiration and opportunities opening up next year .... and beyond.

Join us soon!
We are launching our new, online observational workshop program soon - Festive Thinking. Watch, learn and enjoy .... the format involves a video tutorial, eBooks, a design discussion (live or recorded) and more. It can be accessed at your convenience from 14 November through until the end of January.
For the program I will be presenting two festive design concepts, based around star shapes, and offering multiple versions of each concept. Inspired by this video presention, a small team of invited Designers will produce star-themed festive compositions. In a follow up design discussion, I will review these contributed designs, offering my perspectives on alternative creative decisions, different technical solutions and potential improvements or possible adaptations.
It's sure to be information rich, exciting and inspiring.

We have just released our first round of course dates for 2023 - with learning opportunities for everyone who creates with flowers.
The three designs above are discussion examples I created during past courses and showcase a small glimpse of the possible styles and approaches included in the courses.
Registrations are open now for intakes starting in January and February 2023.
Design Directions - explore various design styles while we experiment with the various ways proportions can be directed.
One Container, Five Elements - take one container and use it repeatedly across five design tasks, each time with a different focus on one of five elements of design.
Design Solutions - work with very limited variety in plant materials across a range of practical tasks - working with less to learn more, and to create more impact with your design choices.

World Championship Floral Art - 26 to 31 August 2025, The Hague, The Netherland. Hosted by Florint and the Royal Dutch Florist Association - an edition of the famous 'Europa Cup' on an even greater global level.
